While some dogs dream of endless adventures, Lily's version of a perfect day is much simpler: a nice walk, a little squirrel surveillance, some couch snuggles, and being close to the people she loves.

Lily has never met a stranger. Adults? Friends. Kids? Friends. Visitors? Also friends. If she could write a song, it would probably be called "Please Pet Me Again."

She enjoys hiking a mile or two a couple of times each week, long walks around the neighborhood, bird watching, rolling in the grass, and showing off her impressive ability to catch popcorn midair. But her favorite activity by far is simply being with her person.

Lily would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the day. Retirees, work-from-home professionals, or part-time workers would be her dream match. After spending so much time waiting, she's ready for a family who wants a devoted companion by their side.

While she's polite when meeting dogs on walks, Lily would prefer to be the star of her own show as the only dog in the home. She has excellent house manners, enjoys free roam of the house when alone, and would happily vote to retire crates forever.
