I prefer to watch, to assess, and to make sure I understand what’s going on before I decide it’s safe. I don’t rush trust, but I don’t refuse it either.Once I feel secure, I soften. I may act like I’m not sure about you at first, but if you’re gentle and patient, I’ll accept pets and attention and quietly realize it’s something I’ve been needing.I do best in a calm home where things are predictable and kind. I don’t need much, just time, space, and someone willing to let me adjust at my own pace without pushing me past my comfort zone. I'm not mean, just nervous.
