I’m a five-year-old Schnauzer with a heart full of love just waiting for the perfect family. I have a calm, gentle, and incredibly loving personality, and I absolute adore being close to my people. In fact, if I had it my way, I would probably never leave your lap! I love following my humans around the house just to be near them, and I’m definitely looking for a home where I can have all the attention and affection entirely to myself.

I’m a simple guy with two major passions: a good appetite and relaxing! I recently mastered the art of jumping onto the couch, which is perfect because my absolute favorite hobby is watching TV right by your side. If you have an empty lap and a lot of love to give, I’m ready to be your loyal shadow!

Meet your new best friend! Pepper is a wonderful boy who offers the perfect blend of being a peaceful, self-confident companion indoors and a fun-loving, high-energy partner outdoors. With his sweet, attentive nature, he still acts very much like a young puppy and is incredibly responsive to training. He will easily fit right into almost any family dynamic. He would truly thrive in a household where his people are home most of the day, making him an ideal match for remote workers or retirees. In the backyard, he loves to run and play games, and once he learns to walk outside, he has potential to be a fantastic jogging partner for an active adopter. When it comes to other pets, he is respectful and curious around dogs, though he would also perfectly happy as an only dog who gets all the spotlight. He is a quick learner who is currently mastering his confidence with stairs. We are currently teaching him how to play with toys and how to walk nicely on a leash.
