Indy Rex is 6 yrs old

Indy Rex exemplifies why we love collies, displaying the best characteristics the breed has to offer.

Now that he’s settled, his true personality is shining through for all to see. Indy Rex is one happy lad. According to his foster dad, he is “chill,” aside from the occasional case of the zoomies when one of the foster dogs initiates play. Afterward, Indy Rex happily goes back to lying down and watching his foster dad. If Dad leaves the room, Indy Rex is usually right behind him.

Indy Rex prefers being inside to outside, but when it’s time for some fresh air, he enjoys watching the birds and squirrels and exploring his surroundings. His love language is definitely physical contact. He really enjoys butt scratches, pets and snuggles! When his foster dad settles into his recliner, Rex likes to climb halfway onto his lap, rest his head on his shoulder and soak up all the rumples and affection he craves. Rex knows no strangers; they are all just people who haven’t had a chance to pet him yet. He enjoys playing with his foster dog brothers and is easy to motivate when learning commands because he is eager to please his person. Rex simply loves life!

One of Indy Rex’s cutest habits is carrying around one of his foster dad’s shoes in his mouth. It’s as though he just can’t get enough of being with his person, so he takes a shoe along with him. Don’t worry though

he never chews it! In fact, Indy Rex hasn’t chewed anything except his food, so he hasn’t needed to be crated. If you think Indy Rex sounds too good to be true, come meet this wonderful lad for yourself. We don’t see how you could possibly be disappointed!
